S B Repertor is a traditional Thames sailing barge built in 1924 in Mistley, on the River Stour in Essex.

Her highly efficient spritsail rig, with 4,000 sq ft of sail, enables fast sailing yet can be handled by only two crew.

Join us for day trips, weekends or longer cruises under sail — or even take part in a race. You can help crew the barge and learn the traditional skills, or just relax and watch how it’s done.

Our sailing season runs from May to September. Our home ports are Faversham and Whitstable in Kent, but we can also start or finish trips almost anywhere around the Thames Estuary and along the East Coast, for example in Maldon or Ipswich, Chatham or Gravesend, or in London.
